About me

This is Elijah Square. Growing up in Trenton, New Jersey, he developed a strong fascination with animation since watching a bunch of Saturday morning cartoons. After school, Elijah would always make drawings based on his favorite cartoons. Eventually, he went to create his own original drawings, after getting lessons in art through videos online. After high school, Elijah went to study at Mercer County Community College and got an Associate's Degree in 3D Animation.

Statement:

As an animator, I hope to create my own original ideas and share them with the world. I believe animation can use to mix light and dark tone to help create something interestingly unique or simply do one or the other. When looking at shows or movies, animation can be use as a gateway to explore the possibilities of one’s imagination. I always dream on creating something that has can either be uplifting or depressing. I despise when  animation is called a kid genre. It should be seen as a respectable film medium. I hope to make animated projects for teens/adults. Although, I  believe children should be exposed to stuff they don’t understand, because when they look back at it when they’re older, they can appreciate even more. Always remember there is no limits to imagination and reach out to bring your vision to life.
